We are currently excavating a site in Prescot Street in Aldgate. The Prescot Street site lies at the centre of what is known as the East London Roman cemetery. This was one of several cemeteries serving the Roman settlement of Londinium and it’s suburbs. There is a website for the excavation, www.lparchaeology.com/prescot/. This includes background information, regularly updated photos, journal posts and videos and access to the excavation results, a glossary and a learning section, all of which is intended to provide a virtal window into the excavation as it progresses.

I hope that I have posted this in a relevant area. Please get in touch if you would like further information about the web site or the excavation.
